Redbreast Missouri Oak Edition Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a limited release that puts American wood in the spotlight. Redbreast's single pot still whiskey from Midleton Distillery, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley, is matured in rare virgin American white oak barrels coopered from trees grown in the Ozark forests of Missouri, and bottled at 50.5% ABV.Fresh Missouri oak gives the whiskey a bold, sweet character that sets it apart from the sherry-driven core range: toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and coconut on the nose, a rich palate of honey, baked apple and warm baking spice over the oily pot still base, and a long, spicy finish. The higher proof carries it all with weight and length. Add a drop of water to open it up.Bottled in limited numbers, this 750ml release is one for Redbreast collectors and bourbon drinkers curious about Irish pot still.
